Make sure metal rings are placed on left shoulder, in the front, resting in the crook of the shoulder.  The strap should be in front and hanging down over the left breast.
Hold small baby with head in the crook of the left arm and your hand holding between the legs or one leg.  Put baby into sling and adjust.

Keeping baby in your arm, adjust the baby in a comfortable position well inside the sling.

IMPORTANT:    Once positioned, make sure that the inside panel of the sling is up and between you and baby.  If you fail to pull the inside panel up, the baby may slip out.

Pull outside panel up and around baby to protect from wind/light, or allow a little opening for your baby to look out and see the world.  (Hint: Some babies may cry in the sling because they cannot see anything and are under-stimulated, or they may cry because they see too much and are unable to go to sleep due to over-stimulation.  Keep this in mind when your baby begins to fuss while in the sling)

And there you have it!

Warnings:
1.  Never bend over when using Kangaroo Kaddy.  If you must pick something up, bend at the knees, keeping back straight and perpendicular from the floor, and support baby to make sure that the sling does not tip over.  Better yet, ask someone to pick it up for you!

2.  Do not cook or stand near an open flame when wearing the Kangaroo Kaddy.

3.  Do not use bleach when laundering the Kangaroo Kaddy because it will break down the material and could compromise the safety of the fabric.
