When I was a child I use to lay in bed sleepless many a nights. One of the ways I use to entertain myself to sleep was to make up dreams of beautiful works of art I would create one day. Seems all the females on my mom's side of the family had an artistic talent. My mom was talented for cartoons/charactertures, while I loved to draw people in their real form. Unfortunately neither my mother nor myself expanded our talents beyond just playing around on a drawing pad.
Now that I am all grown up my dreams of being a famous artist will remain just a dream. It seems now however, that my two daughters will be taking off where my mother and myself left off. Loving my daughters the way I do I will be sure to help inspire their gift in any way I can. They both plan on attending college after they graduate from High School to expand their artistic ablilties. My oldest wishes to become a famous artist like Ken Kelly or Dorian Cleavenger, and even yet, like Da Vinci! My second daughter wishes to become a cartoon animator for the cartoons like Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, and possibly become an animator for Disney doing classic animated movies.
I try to expose my children to art which expands the imagination. There are several known artist whose work I know to do just that plus some.
