Dave Twogood: "The Sounds Of The Society"

Dave Twogood: "My band was a 10-piece dance band formed in 1967. When its founder graduated high school, I won the audition as lead alto sax. The photo was taken in late '68. We played dances for $100 - $10 apiece - and had a ball! The high point was our demo 45 (of "Tenderly") which got lots of local airplay." (Note: We didn't play Surf Music!)
